After a courageous second battle with cancer Dianne passed away surrounded by her children.  Dianne was born and raised in Comfort, Texas.  She has lived in many places but planted her feet in Colorado Springs, CO.  In her younger years, she worked retail up until she was diagnosed with a rare cancer.  She battled that cancer and won. Later due to the cancer treatments she became blind but that never let her stop doing what she wanted to do. She was fiercely independent.  She would create floral arrangements, crochet and make food items not just for family but those that lived in her apartment complex. She loved helping people. She will be missed dearly by all, especially her children.

A special thanks to Linda Farrell, who may have been her daughter-in-law but was also a special friend and caregiver.

Her family would like to thank the Pikes Peak Hospice and their wonderful staff for helping with her transition home.

Dianne will be cremated.  A memorial will be held in Comfort, Texas at a later time.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, cancer research or the American Foundation for the blind in her honor.
