Gertrude (Trudy) White 90, of Colorado Springs, passed away December 20, 2021. Born and raised in Salzburg, Austria to Leopold and Johanna Pallauf. She was the eldest of three children.

She married Joseph F. White in 1952 and together they raised five children, four daughters and a son. 

Throughout her life she loved traveling, swimming, hiking, symphony, opera, cooking, sewing, playing Canasta, Trivial Pursuit and watching Jeopardy. She also loved her extended family at The Inn at Garden Plaza, where she lived the past eight and a half years.

Trudy is survived by her two brothers, Ernst (Inge) Pallauf and Hans Pallauf, her children Marilyn Murray, Sandy Anderson, Kathy (Jeff) Specht, Joe White and Anita (Erv) Bach. She is survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life mass for Trudy, will be held January 27th, at 10:00am, St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. A reception at the church will follow and Internment will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery January 28th at 1:00pm.
