Barbara Louise Campbell was born to Mark and Grace (Miklich) Kochevar May 4, 1934, the 4th of 6 children, and left her earthly home August 8, 2023 at the age of 89.
Bobbie married the love of her life November 10, 1950 when she was 16 and Jerry was 19. They were married for 66 years before Jerry’s death in 2017. Mom missed him every single day.
Survived by her children Jerry (Camilla) of Trinidad, Mike of Pueblo, Patti of Bremerton Washington, Rev. Robert Mark (Glenda, deceased) of Pueblo; grandchildren Adam Matthew, Jacob Campbell, John‐ Paul Campbell, Jeremy Matthew, Rogers Joey Brown, Toka Lavacca, Nick Lavacca, Erin Kellenberg, Sarah McDonald, Alexandra Mondragon and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Also survived by her sister Patricia (Tish) Weller (Dick), sisters in law Lorraine Kochevar and Miriam Bolander.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry, son Terry Michael, parents Mark and Grace, stepmother Marge, mother in law Florence Casteel, brother Mark, sisters Catherine Robeda, Winnifred Bigelow, Janice Sneeringer. Sisters in law and brothers in law, Frank Robeda, Duane Bigelow, John Sneeringer, John and Vivian Dolman, Gene Campbell, John Campbell and Jim Casteel.
Bowling was a huge part of mom’s life: teaching, being an administrator for the local association and running charity bowl. She was employed at Bowlero and the Sunset Lanes under its many permentations for 35 years, retiring at age 84 in 2018. She also loved her weekly poker games with her sisters and their husbands. We’re sure she’s back in them, along with her bowling buddies who are together again.
The family would like to give their deepest thanks to Center Care Hospice and their wonderful nurse Andrea, CNA’s Melanie and Jennae, who showed such kindness and compassion towards Mom. Also Nurse Tiffany from Home Health who made herself available on weekends to help care for mom. They truly are angels on earth.
Services will be September 16 at St Francis Xavier church; 611 Logan Ave; Pueblo, CO . Rosary at 10:30 am, Mass at 11:00 am and Reception area next door to the church from 12 noon until 2 pm.
