Nancy Mae Parrish, 79, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on September 2, 2026,

surrounded by her family.

Born on December 8, 1946, in Midlothian, TX, Nancy was the daughter of Coy B. Ivey and

Sylvia Ivey. She lived a life marked by kindness, strength, and devotion to those she loved.

Nancy will be remembered for her love of Jesus, her love for her husband Gene to whom she

was married for nearly 64 years, her strong faith, her sense of humor, her incredible cooking

skills, her generous spirit, and for the joy she brought to her family and friends. She was also

passionate about worshipping her Savior through music. She enjoyed listening to worship music

all day long!

Nancy enjoyed serving others through her incredible gift of hospitality. She served in many

capacities hosting and planning events to honor and show love to others throughout her lifetime.

Above all, she treasured time with her loved ones and leaves behind many cherished memories.

She is survived by her husband Gene; her son Rick Parrish and wife Megan, her daughter Cheryl

Gibson and husband Heath, her daughter Julie Ternes and husband Mark; her 15 grandchildren

Ryan, Rachel, Nicole, Lindsey, Sierra, Tanner, Jeseca, Garrett, Sydney, Nathan, Jonathan,

Finley, Ian, Bennett, and Eleanora; and 14 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; and

many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on September 11, 2026, at 11:00am at New Life Church

in The World Prayer Center located at 11015 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs CO 80921. A

light lunch will follow the service.

Nancy’s love, wisdom, and memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
