1933 ~ 2018
Clifford John Beu, 85, of Pueblo Colorado passed away peacefully on July 11,2018, surrounded by his family.Clifford was born on March 8, 1933 in Fowler,Colorado to Herman and Sophia(Guthals) Beu. He is predeceased by his parents, and an infant brother Donald John Beu.
He is survived by his brother Alvin Fredrick (Almarine) Beu and wife of almost 60 years Mary Elizabeth(Julien) Beu. His children; Michael Kevin(Barbara Ellen Dean) Beu and Lesley Alane Beu (David Vance) Votava. His grandchildren; Joshua Kenneth Beu, Meagan Elizabeth (Paul) Gray, Abigail Marie Votava, and Adam David Votava. Great grandchildren; Emil Dwayne Gray and Sophia Paulette Gray. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Clifford graduated from Fowler High School in 1951 and Pueblo Junior College in 1953. He worked at Associates Finance Company in Denver until 1959, and Minnequa Bank (Vectra) of Pueblo Colorado where he retired after 35 years of service. He was an Assistant Vice President and head of bank security.
Cliff was a member of the Pueblo West Sportsman’s Association and a lifetime member of both the NRA and theSteel City Kiwanis Club of Pueblo. He earned the George F. Hixson Fellow award for outstanding dedication and contributions to Kiwanis International. He was an active treasurer for many years, and served as president in 1976-1977, 1992-1993. He enjoyed the Colorado mountains, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.
