Forrest Scott MacLeod

Forrest Scott MacLeod, born on September 23, 1990, in Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on October 26, 2026, at the age of 36, due to a pulmonary embolism. His passing leaves a profound sadness in the hearts of those who loved him, and his absence will be felt deeply by his family and friends.

Forrest had a heart of gold. He was a loyal, hardworking, and intentional man who believed in showing up for the people he loved. Family was everything to Forrest, and the love he had for those closest to him was evident in the way he lived his life. He was the kind of person you could count on, someone who stood by the people he loved and whose presence made a difference.  His kindness, loyalty, and genuine spirit made him unforgettable to those fortunate enough to know him.

A lifelong hard worker, Forrest graduated with the Class of 2008 from UCAL after attending Eisenhower High School. He began his working years as a mason with his father’s company, Mac Concrete, where he learned the value of dedication and craftsmanship. He later worked with Owen Tree Service before moving to Colorado, where he continued building his career as a roofer with Desbro Roofing. Forrest took pride in working hard and making his way in the world.

Outside of work, Forrest found happiness in the great outdoors. He loved hanging out with his brother and friends, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, fishing, and spending time around animals.  He had a spirit of adventure, a wonderful sense of humor, and a deep appreciation for the simple things in life.

Forrest’s life was shaped by love, loyalty, hard work, and the importance of family. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on the people who loved him will last a lifetime. He will be remembered for his heart of gold, his steadfast loyalty, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely. The memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

Forrest was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Thomas “Tom” Scott MacLeod and Lisa Ann Keene MacLeod; his sister, Sophia MacLeod; his grandparents, Stephen Keene, Naomi Keene; and Hugh MacLeod.

He leaves behind his brother, Hunter MacLeod, his grandmother, Phyllis MacLeod, along

with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many others whose lives were touched by his presence.

Forever in our hearts.
