Evelyn “Marie” Lucas passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and cherished memories.
A devoted mother, family member, and dear friend, Marie lived a life defined by her kindness and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She brought light and comfort to everyone around her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Lucas, and her daughter, Frances Lucas.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Jessica Pitts and her husband Mike, and Rayne Lucas and her partner Charles Willhite; her foster daughter, Pamela Humphrey; her cherished grandchildren, Nate Pitts, Tyler Pitts, and Kris Gillette; along with extended family and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
In accordance with Marie’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Her family will gather privately to honor and celebrate her life, her memory, and the deep love she shared with those around her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s honor to a charity of your choice, or simply by extending an act of kindness to someone in need.
