William Grover Whisnan

William Whisnan AKA Bill of Fowler Colorado passed away December 11, 2024 peacefully at Home.
Memorial Services will be held December 28th 2024 at West Assembly of God with Pastor Daryl Johnson officiating. There will be no burial to follow.
William was born in Taft California to Madge Marguerite Mclaughlin and Thomas Andrew Whisnan February 20,1938.
William served in the navy as a BT2 on the USS
Wisconsin and the USS New Jersey. During his time serving he met the love of his life Lorriane Ann Hartwig, they married on March 1, 1958. William and Lorriane adopted their oldest son Robert Whisnan in 1962 and had their youngest son Mike Whisnan in 1974.
Willam worked as a parts man after the Navy in california and then in Westminster as A manager. They then moved to their current Dwelling where he worked for JDL Trailers for twenty plus years retiring in 2015. During his off time William enjoyed Hunting and Fishing and spending as much time with his Grandkids and towards the end watching his great Grandkids grow. He was a strong man that everyone loved. He was always willing to give his shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. William was always willing to share his wisdom of life and lend a listening ear. William brought the meaning of the golden rule to another level and could always put a smile on your face, even on his last few days on earth he would still Crack a joke and smile.
William Whisnan is survived by his Wife Lorriane Whisnan. Sons, Mike Whisnan and Robert Whisnan.
Grandkids, Sarah Whisnan, Gabrielle Whisnan, Micheal Whisnan, Mickayla Whisnan, Desiree And Devin Holbrooks-Darling. Great Grandkids Daisy
Holbrooks-Darling, Beau Holbrooks-Darling, and Willow Jolene Holbrooks-Darling.
William Whisnan is preceded in death by Mother Madge Marguerite Mclaughlin and Father Thomas Andrew
Whisnan. Brother Jack Whisnan and Sisters Betty Smith, Wanda Kilinge, and Peggy Brooks.
