Aileen Margaret Link (née Neher), aged 96, passed away on October 10, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born on September 18, 1928, in Mayview, Missouri, Aileen dedicated over 25 years of professional service to Hewlett Packard, leaving a lasting impact through her commitment and work ethic.

Aileen was a loving and caring individual known for her good sense of humor and her passion for handicrafts, including sewing, crocheting, knitting, and china painting. She contributed her time and skills as a volunteer at the local Foodbank and was a very active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

She was a long-time member of the First Methodist Church. Although not active in recent years, her faith played a significant role in her life.

Aileen is survived by her son, Gary Link (wife Marge Link, daughters Megan Wilson and Jessica Link), and daughter Carole Wilson (husband William Wilson, sons Christopher Wilson and Link Wilson). She also leaves behind 7 great- grandchildren, her sister Jackie Meinershagen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Aileen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Link, her parents, her sister Leuita Mathiowetz, and brothers John B. Neher and Donald Neher.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado, honoring her life and legacy. Aileen’s presence and contributions will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
