Jesse Dillon Roe, 22, born June 28th, 2001, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, October 16th, 2023, in La Junta, CO. He was attending Otero College, continuing his academic excellence and playing baseball. 

Dillon grew up in Lincoln, NE. He attended Humann Elementary School, Scott Middle School and graduated from Fairbury High School. Dillon lived in various places in high school, where he made many friends and impacted many lives in his journey. 

Dillon’s heart was in sports all his life, and he had an unconditional love for baseball. Dillon hit his first homerun on his 12th birthday and won the 13 AAA state championship in 2015 with the Lincoln Dodgers team. He also played many years of basketball and football. 

Dillon is survived and loved by his parents, Jess Roe and Annie Roe, bonus mom, Dana Ford, his three sisters, Lacey Roe, Savannah Roe-Ferguson, Morgan Ford, grandparents Debbie Roe and Tom Poggemeyer, niece, Adalynn, and hundreds of other family and friends whose lives he touched dearly.
