Kevin David McDonald, 56, passed away on 10/11/18 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was a caring son, brother and father.

He was born in Wisconsin, grew up in Minnesota and Colorado, and spent most of his adult years in Texas and Virginia.

Kevin graduated with his BS in Engineering and worked throughout his career at Honeywell, Samsung and Micron.  His interests included baking, reading, history, technology, sci-fi, music, hockey and football.     

Kevin is preceded in death by his mother: Jacquelyn McDonald.

Kevin is survived by his children: Sean Wilson, Caitlin McDonald and Keegan McDonald; siblings: Mark McDonald, Shelly Wiseman, and Sandra Meyers, his father: Kenneth McDonald, step-mother: Yolanda McDonald, and seven nieces and nephews, their spouses and their children.

The immediate family extends special gratitude to Kerry and Debbie Campbell, and to Susan McDonald, for the medical and compassionate care they provided to Kevin.  Also, to the Georgetown University Lombardi Cancer Center, the Lodge Brain Care Center, Spring Village Care Center and the Abode Hospice staff.

The family will plan a celebration of life for Kevin late spring of next year.  Please keep Kevin’s family in your prayers as we grieve our loss.
