Charles Edward Revel was born in La Junta, Colorado to parents Chester and Lucille (Newby) Revel on January 29, 1950.
Eddie graduated from Harrison High School then served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war on the USS McCaffery. When he returned he worked as a Deputy Sheriff for El Paso County for several years, he then was co-owner of the “Ye Ole Lake George Inn” in Florescent, CO. During that time he was Deputy Coroner for Park County.
With his love for horses that were always an important part of his life he started “Pikes Peak Carriage Service” and gave rides for many weddings, engagements and other special events including taking Mr. and Mrs. Claus to The Broadmoor Hotel for the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Eddie is survived by his wife Malena Revel, daughter Shannon (Chris) Campbell, grandchildren Liam and Ada, stepson Rene A. Gonzalez, sister Reta (Doug) Fox, nephews Brian (Allison) Fox, Justin (Terena) Fox, Nathan (Erin) Fox, 4 great nephews, 4 great nieces.
He requested no Service and his ashes will be scattered in the field of his beloved horses
