Nam James was born on 12/10/1960, to Chin Tae Kim and Ok Chong Kim. She lived a long life filled with love, until her passing on 8/15/2026. She enjoyed spending her childhood growing up with her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She married Jerry D. James on April 21st, 1979, and continued a beautiful marriage to him, which included raising two children, Sandra and Michael, until his passing in 2025. She would be described by her family as being very strong; a fighter through and through, surviving a heart attack, strokes, brain tumors, and dementia. Nam loved to tell stories and sing songs to her grandchildren; Catherine, Christina, Orianna, Donovan, Midori, DeAnna, and Breanna. She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, and her siblings; Chong Kim, Victoria Rutherford, Choung Soo Kim, Yeon Soo Kim, and Lyung Kim. Nam is proceeded in death by her parents, Ok Chong Kim, and Chin Tae Kim, as well as her brother, Young Ho Kim, and husband Jerry James.
