In Loving Memory of Marjorie Anne Henschel
July 22, 1935 – August 14, 2026
Anne Henschel passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 91, surrounded by the deep love of her family.
Anne lived a beautiful life centered on her family, her home, and her hidden talents. A gifted cook, skilled homemaker, floral artist, and painter, she had a wonderful eye for beauty and brought care into everything she created. She found joy in life’s simple and sweet pleasures – listening to good music, enjoying dark chocolate, and getting lost in a good history book with a hot cup of tea. She deeply cherished her time and world travels with Bill, whom she loved until her very last breath.
Anne adored her beloved dogs, Pearl, who went before her, and Jimmy, who remained faithfully by her side through the final chapter of her life. Jimmy was a constant companion and a source of immense comfort, just as Pearl had been before him.
She was quick to say “I love you,” and she meant it every single time. Her family never had to wonder how she felt about them. Her love was freely given, generously expressed, and woven into the fabric of their lives.
She is survived by her children, Jill, Karen (Charlie), and Rob (Dottie); her daughter-in-law, Deanna; and her siblings, Barbara, Larry, Jeanette, Nancy, and Marylee. Her spirit lives on through Kent, her beloved grandchildren – Matt, Sarah (Doug), Hannah (Jake), Mahalia (Eric), Annie, Truitt, Will, James, and Nora – and her cherished great-grandchildren. Anne was preceded in death by her son, Tim, and her sister, Suzy.
Guided by her unwavering faith, Anne carried deep comfort in knowing she would be reunited with Jesus, a conviction that brought her peace throughout her life.
