Joshua Kyle Lechner
October 10, 1986 – March 18, 2025
Joshua Kyle Lechner was born on October 10, 1986 in Colorado Springs to his parents, Ralph and Desiree. He was the youngest of 4 children. He graduated from Doherty High School in 2005.
Josh loved camping, playing disc golf, playing pool, hunting, and hiking. But most of all he loved hanging out with his family and friends, and living life to the fullest. He loved all music and was a “certified” Dead Head and hippie at heart. He will live on through the music.
Josh met the love of his life and soul mate, Stephanie when she was 15 and he was 16 years old and have been inseparable ever since. They have two beautiful children, Veda Lechner and Gavin Lechner who are the joy of his world. Josh had an amazing ability to brighten every room he walked in to. Josh was a very successful salesman and won many top awards and accolades in his career. Everyone’s mentor and friend. He created so many long-lasting friendships, and made friends everywhere he went. His family and friends were the most important part of his life and he was truly devoted to making time for everyone he loved.
Josh is survived by his wife and love of his life Stephanie, daughter Veda Lechner and son Gavin Lechner. His beloved parents Ralph (Lori) Lechner and Desiree (Russ) Westfall, sister Nicole (Morgan) Hawley, sister Katrina Lechner (Adam Reynolds), brother Ryan Lechner, his Oma Helen Lechner, and Grandmother Sue Cox. He also leaves behind his many beloved nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins, not to mention the hundreds of friends he held dear to his heart.
We are so proud of the man Josh became, he was a bright shining star whose loyalty and generosity will live through us all forever. He loved his dogs Jake and Remi and referred to them as his fur babies.
Our hearts are shattered, the world will not be the same without Joshua. He is now with his best friend and hero Opa Fred Lechner. Josh is now in the sky shinning his bright star on us all. He will always be remembered and celebrated by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His love will not fade away. We love you Joshua Kyle Lechner forever and for always.
