Kody Druell Poston, 32, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, tragically passed away on December 17, 2024. Born on January 8, 1992, at Irwin Army Hospital in Fort Riley, Kansas, he was the beloved son of Jana Marie Poston.

Kody was known for his loving personality, charming charisma, and his deep care for the people around him. He had an incredible gift for connecting with others, always making those around him feel special. His outgoing nature and genuine heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Kody had a passion for music, spending much of his time playing instruments such as the saxophone and guitar, as well as singing and rapping. Poetry was also a deep passion of his, and he expressed himself through the art of words. His love for creativity extended to his hobbies, which also included working out, fishing, and cooking—especially on Monday nights when he would cook with his mom, a tradition that filled him with comfort and joy.

Kody is survived by his fiancée, Cambria Beamish; his mother, Jana Marie Harmon; his father, Terrance Ross Harmon; his brothers, Terrance Devon Harmon and Andre Ross Harmon; his sisters, Patrice Risby and Jordan Harmon; his grandparents, Becky and Michael Adair, and Patrick and Sue Poston; his uncles, Brad Lee Poston, Johnathan Adair, and Gabriel Adair; his aunts, Andrea Bazan (Aunt Nina), and Kalie Adair; his nieces, Xolani Risby-Wallace, Zy’Airre Slater, Alayah Marie Harmon, Nianna Rain Harmon, Khloe Sky Harmon, Amari Lee Harmon, and Reya Belle Harmon; as well as his cousins, Kameron Bittner (who was raised with him as a brother), Jose Anthony Hernandez, Nathan Hernandez, Arnoldo (Prieto) Bazan, Thomas Bazan, Aiden Bazan, and Gracelynn Lippincott.

Kody was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Myron Bodine, and his grandmother, Lee Harmon.

The family is deeply grateful for the love and support extended by Kody’s friends and extended family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.
