Sheena Marie Vallejos, 37, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on August 21, 2023. Sheena was born on August 22, 1985, and was the beloved daughter of Susan and Stephen Vallejos. Sheena’s deep love for her family was evident throughout her life. Being the youngest of four children, she cherished her role as the baby of the family and maintained a close bond with her parents and siblings. Sheena resided within a mile of her parents for most of her life, valuing their presence and support. 

An animal lover at heart, Sheena dedicated herself to caring for her pets as well as the family’s animals. She extended her nurturing nature to her role as an aunt, providing endless love and joy to her nieces and nephews. Known for her vibrant personality, Sheena always had exciting plans and made every hangout session with her nieces and nephews unforgettable. 

When her son, Stephen Jason Vallejos-House, was born, Sheena’s priorities shifted, and she wholeheartedly embraced her role as a devoted mother. She took immense pride in teaching her son important life lessons and ensuring that he experienced the joy and excitement she cherished. Sheena’s family also included her son’s father, Jason House, her brother, Josh Abeyta, and sisters, Rebecca Seal and Erica Baker. Sheena’s love extended beyond her immediate family, as she had numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory. 

Throughout her career, Sheena dedicated herself to serving and helping others. She spent most of her career at US Bank, where she was deeply loved and respected by her colleagues. Sheena’s commitment to servicing and assisting people was evident in all her professional endeavors. 

Outside of work, Sheena had a zest for life and a thirst for new experiences. She enjoyed watching scary movies and shows, hiking in nature, exploring new places, crafting, and traveling to distant destinations. Her greatest passions were music and the Denver Broncos. Sheena’s enthusiasm was contagious, and she always made sure to include her loved ones in her adventures. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Susan & Stephen Vallejos and recently, her Uncle Joseph Abeyta. 

A ceremony to celebrate Sheena’s life will be held at Rocky Mountain Calvary on Saturday September 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Sheena are invited to attend and pay their respects. 

Sheena Marie Vallejos will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her unwavering love, infectious joy, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. May her soul find eternal peace.
