Barbara Francis Shean passed after a brief illness with cancer.

Born June 30, 1938, to Reginald Shean in New York, Barbara was raised by her grandma Florence Whalen/ She married Bernard (Bum) Finn in March of 1959 and had 3 children. As a mother, she was generous, kind and very loving to all.

Barb took great pride in working with children and she will always be remembered for giving to others with a huge heart.

Barb was the oldest of 5 kids. Judy of Florida, Bill Shean of Florida and Michael Shean of North Carolina. Reginald and Bud Shean preceded her in death.

Barbara is survived by her 3 children:

Rusty Finn of Palmer Lake, Colorado. He is married to Sharlene.

Todd Michael Kueker (Finn) of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is married to Shelly.

Vicki Sue Hipsher-Strole of Mason City, Iowa

Barbara had 8 grandchildren: Crystal Warren, Russ Simpson, Nina Brehe, Barbie Kueker, Rebecka Mora, Brian M Perkins, Blane Perkins, Katie McKeever, and Cody Finn-Kueker. She was preceded in death by William Joseph Kueker.

She also had 12 great grandchildren:  Jasmine Jones, Jessica Warren, William Mora, Weston Brehe, Daniel Mora, Brian C Perkins, Mason Brehe, Devanie Mora, Hailey Simpson, Hannah Simpson, Remington Perkins, and Ivan McKeever. 

Barbara had 1 great great grandchild, Ryder Benjamin.

She moved to Colorado in 1965 and has resided there since, living in Denver for a short time. Then Barbara moved to Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs and finally to Palmer Lake where she lived out her life.image001.jpg

Barbara loved her animals. Sandy Marie was her baby, along with the many stray cats she helped. She would give her last dollar to make sure they were all being taken care of.

Barbara worked in daycare for many years, and as a private nanny. She gave every kid her love like they were her own flesh and blood. Barbara also loved being in the American Legion Post 5 Auxiliary. She was a member for 40 years and she has held every office there is from Sgt of Arms to President a couple times. She got her daughter signed up, her granddaughter and just recently her great granddaughter. Barbara worked the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo for years and never missed a night up until recently.
