He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Ronald and Mary Ann (Dzurovchin) Shelton on August 6, 1959. Victor attended Immanuel Lutheran Church as a child and received his early education at Immanuel Lutheran School. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1977. He attended Colorado State University and Wyoming Technical Institute where he learned Auto Body Repair and Upholstery.
He spent time as an Instructor at El Paso County Community College teaching Auto Body repair. He remained lifelong friends with many of those he taught. He spent most of his career working at Perkin’s Motors as a Manager and as a Parts Adviser. He also worked at Emich Chrysler, Carlin Dodge and Christopher’s Dodge World. His most recent job was with UPS where he was a member of the Teamster’s Union.

He was a huge Trekkie and had an extensive collection of Star Trek memorabilia. He also collected Chrysler and Mopar memorabilia. He enjoyed playing Basketball and watching NASCAR races. There was never a problem that Victor didn’t have a solution for. He was always willing to rescue anyone stranded on the side of the road, sometimes with nothing more than a paperclip.

Over the years the couple adopted Senior dogs, Jackson, Keyser and Sadie so they had a happy, loving home to live out their last years. In 2016 the couple tragically lost her Service Dog, Scrappy, who was loved by all who met him. Victor loved spending his time spoiling the couples two puppies, Spaz and Schatzie, who were never far from his side.
Victor is survived by his wife, Kerry, of the home. He is also survived by her children whom he became very close to over the years, Kelly (Fox) and Scott Brown and their children Tayshawn, Kianna, Isaiah, Noah and Zavion.
