On Monday, November 23rd, 2020, Arthur William Billstrand Jr., loving husband, father of two children, and grandfather to two grandchildren, passed away at age 83.

Art was born on September 18, 1937 in Chicago, Ill to Arthur William Sr. and Eleanore Elizabeth (Ehlin) Billstrand. He received his Engineering degree from Purdue University in 1959, and practiced engineering for Illinois and Wisconsin Bell for 30 years. 

On October 24, 1964, he married Barbara Jean Billstrand. They raised two sons, Thomas and David, and were very active in the lives of their grandchildren.

Art was an avid fisherman with a passion for the outdoors and wildlife.  

Art also cherished long relationships with many special friends.    He also enjoyed Door County, Traveling, Alaska, and his breakfast group.   Art was diagnosed with Emphysema and enjoyed every day since his diagnosis.   If you met him you would appreciate his sayings:  Attitude and Gratitude,   Growing old isn’t for Sissies.

Art will be missed by his dear wife, Barbara; two sons, Thomas (Mary) Billstrand of Albuquerque, NM, and David Billstrand of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Brian(Macy) and Timothy; and many others throughout the Billstrand and Fisher family.

We will continue to celebrate his life in our hearts.
