John Randolph Coffman “Randy” passed away on July 8, 2020 at the age of 73 in Colorado Springs, CO surrounded in love by his wife (Nancy Coffman) and his twin daughters (Stacy Speas and Laura Jensen).
Randy was born in Denver, CO on November 4, 1946 and grew up in Commerce City, CO. He attended high school at Adams City High School and college at the Colorado School of Mines. He worked in highway construction field his entire life. He married Sandra Minniear in 1967 and together they raised their twin girls in Littleton, CO. In 2002, he and Sandra divorced and in 2009 he married Nancy Miller. Randy enjoyed being with family, reading, sitting on the patio, and traveling to Mexico each fall with his wife and their friends.
Randy is survived by his wife Nancy Coffman, his daugters Stacy (Clay) Speas and Laura (Greg) Jensen, his stepsons Scott (Amber) Miller, Dan (Jennifer) Miller and Mark Miller. His grandchildren Lane Speas, Aleya Speas, Ryan Jensen, Brittney Miller, Tyler Miller, Steven (Sophia) Hiatt, Makayla Westphal, Anthony Roth, Faith Roth, Colton Miller, Tucker Miller, and Aubrey Miller. He is preceded in death by his father,Bernard Coffman, mother Arleta “Jackie” Coffman, brother Chris Coffman and infant grandson Nicolas Speas.
As was his preference, no service will be held. He will be cremated and laid to rest with his parents and brother.
