1947 ~ 2018

Harold Laverne McFarland, 71, of Falcon (Colorado Springs), Colorado, passed away on December 31, 2018.  Harold was born in Kearney, Nebraska, on September 11, 1947, the son of Roscoe Laverne and Gladys Ladeen (Jackson) McFarland.  Harold was united in marriage to Mary Lou Walker on March 26, 1966 in Kirksville, Missouri.  They were married for 52 years, 9 months and 5 days.  He worked construction for many years and was a security guard for 13 years.  He enjoyed hunting and being outside.

Harold is survived by his wife, Mary Lou of the home, two children Wayne of Falcon, Colorado and Sherri Fetz and husband Alan, of Erie, Colorado, four grandchildren; Joshua Fetz, Alisha Fetz, Jeffrey McFarland, and Alina Fetz, one brother Richard McFarland of Novinger, Missouri, one sister Sandy Walker and husband Steven of Atlanta, Missouri.  Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Gladys McFarland, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pearl and Opal Walker.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be in his home for family and friends.
