In Loving Memory of Justin Marcus Pulliam

April 27, 1992 – November 1, 2026

Justin Marcus Pulliam, affectionately known to many as “JP,” was born on April 27, 1992, in Arkansas City, Kansas. His life was tragically cut short on November 1, 2026, at just 34 years old.

Justin was truly one of a kind. He lived life on his own terms, never afraid to take chances, bend a few rules, or follow his own path. He had a wild, adventurous spirit, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. Life with Justin was never boring, and if you knew JP, you probably have a story or two to prove it! He wasn’t perfect, and he never pretended to be, but he was always unapologetically himself.

Justin was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. When someone he cared about needed help, he showed up, often going above and beyond without expecting anything in return. His generosity and loyalty were two of the things that made him so special to those who knew him.

Justin shared an incredibly close bond with his mother, Debbie. They spoke multiple times every day, whether it was about something important or absolutely nothing at all. No matter how far apart they were, they were always part of each other’s daily lives. And while mothers aren’t supposed to have favorites, his sisters would probably agree that Justin held that title! He was her boy, and their relationship was one of a kind.

One of Justin’s proudest accomplishments was purchasing his first home in Colorado earlier this year. His three beloved huskies, Blaze, Lucy, and Wiz, were his pride and joy. They weren’t just his dogs; they were his babies, and anyone who knew Justin knew just how much he adored them.

Justin was preceded in death by his aunt, Carla Helms; his grandfather, Richard Pulliam; and his grandfather, Sonnie Pope; his great-grandparents, Willard and Rita Pulliam; and his great-grandparents, Herman and Norma Reed.

He leaves behind his mother, Debbie Karai, and stepfather, Sassan Karai; his sisters, Kayli (Drue) Banzet, Krissa Pulliam (partner Anthony Trotman), and Kenzi Adkisson (partner Evan McShane); his grandmother, Shari Pope; his nephews, Brendon Inslee, Julian Hererra, Ian Pulliam, and Parker Banzet; and his nieces, Brecklyn Hayden, Cecilia Trotman, Saylor Banzet, and Kinsley Banzet.

He also leaves behind his three huskies, extended family, and countless friends who will forever cherish their memories with him.

Justin’s time here was far too short, but he certainly made the most of the life he lived. He leaves behind unforgettable stories, plenty of laughter, and a whole lot of love.

The world will be a little quieter, the adventures a little less wild, and our hearts a little less whole without him.

Rest easy, JP. Forever 34, forever loved, and forever missed. 🕊️
