Fedelina “Veronica” Trujillo 

Veronica Trujillo went to be with the lord on February 14th, 2025 at the age of 78. Veronica was born on March 22nd, 1946 in Costilla, New Mexico to Manuel and Lucy Trujillo. She moved to the South Side of Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1965. Once in Colorado, she gave birth to her two children, Leno Fernandez and Manuel Trujillo. While in Colorado Springs, she worked in schools and as a housekeeper throughout her lifetime. After retirement, she enjoyed being a mother & grandmother, walking & shopping, and decorating her home for the holidays & giving and receiving holiday cards.

Veronica is preceded in death by her mother and father Manuel & Lucy, brother and sister Casilda Herrera & Willie Trujillo, and her son Manuel Trujillo. 

She is survived by her uncle Frank Sintas, brothers and sisters Linda Suazo, Rosemary Lucero, Precy Ortega, and Fred Trujillo. She is also survived by her son Leno Fernandez, grand children Preciosa, James, Crystal, Manuel, Dominic, Adrian, and 12 great grandchildren.

Her services will be held at Alternative Cremation, 2377 N. Academy Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO. 80909 on Friday, March 28th, 2025 @ 11:00 AM.
