Nancy Elizabeth Jefferson, age 75, of Woodland Park, CO and formerly Edina, MN, passed away January 14, 2025, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Minneapolis on September 29th, 1949, the daughter of Jere and Mary Dalldorf. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Barry, son, Rob, and brother, David Dalldorf. Survived by daughter, Jennifer (Eric Swanstrom), grandson, Jake, and sister, Linda Kieffer-Price (Brian)
After graduating from Edina High School in 1967 she went on to earn double bachelors degrees in psychology and sociology at Macalester College in St. Paul. There she met her beloved husband, Barry Jefferson, a Wisconsinite and die-hard Packers fan.
After graduation in 1971, Nancy and Barry were married and moved to Colorado Springs, CO, where Nancy earned a master’s degree in education. She taught elementary school for seven years until her daughter was born in 1978. Missing her Minnesota roots, Nancy and family moved back to her home state in 1983, where she gave birth to her son. After the kids were grown, Nancy and Barry moved back to Colorado to enjoy the mountain lifestyle again and built their final home in Woodland Park.
Nancy was a sweet, kind, and gentle soul who was devoted to her family and friends. Her artistic talent was an amazing gift she shared with many others through her exquisitely painted glassware, plates, Christmas ornaments, and custom decorative projects in private homes and public spaces. Her boisterous laugh and sense of humor were among her most endearing traits.
She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
