Harry Glenn Clarke peacefully passed away February 6, 2025. Harry was born July 25, 1949, in Sindelfingen, Germany to John Paul Clarke and Maria (Klause) Clarke. A military family, the Clarkes lived in several places, including Kentucky, Georgia, France, California, Florida, Alaska, and Colorado. Harry graduated from high school in Florida and moved to Alaska with the family. When Harry received his draft notice in 1970, he enlisted in the Navy while the family was moving to Colorado. Harry served in the Navy on the USS Constellation for five years. He lived in San Diego for a while after leaving the Navy, then moved to Colorado. Harry attended Pikes Peak Community College while working the night shift at Hewlett-Packard. After receiving a degree in electronics, he worked as an electronic technician at Hewlett-Packard. Harry then worked at Shriever Air Force Base for contractor Allied Signal/Honeywell until his retirement in 2017.
Harry enjoyed working on old muscle cars, a passion he had for many years. His best friend, John Botos, helped Harry with many of his projects and they attended several car shows. For many years Harry enjoyed hunting and fishing in the Colorado mountains.
Harry married Judy (Baber) Clarke in 1991. Harry is survived by his wife Judy, four brothers: James Clarke, Emery Clarke (Susan), John Clarke, and Steven Clarke (Jane), stepdaughter Theresa Bird, stepdaughter Jessica Hildebran (Ryan), two grandsons, and many loving nieces and nephews. We will miss his sense of humor and kind heart.
