Thomas Poteet (1959-2024) left this Earth October 16th, 2024. He was an affectionate, hardworking husband, father, and grandfather. Born in Fairbanks, AK he moved to Texas where he married his high-school sweetheart of 46 years and made a life with her and his daughters there for 55 years. In 2020 he retired to the country in Colorado to be near his daughter and her family. Thomas was a heavy haul truck driver most of his career before he became the shop foreman for Hargrave and Northstar. His sense of humor and love of cars is a legacy that will be remembered by anyone who spent anytime with him. Preceded in death by his parents John and Maxine Poteet. Thomas is survived by his wife Kathy Poteet, Daughter Melissa and husband Adam Reynolds, Daughter Amanda and husband Cooper Moore. He leaves behind five grandchildren Mason, Bailey, Payton, Sage, and Kaycee. He is also survived by two sisters and a brother.
