Shawna Renee Hunter, 69, of Pueblo, Colorado was born on March 20th, 1955 and went home to be with the Lord on September 15th, 2024. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Patricia and John Head; her grandparents, Ollie and Allen Quillen. She is survived by her children: Terra (Mark) Thiebaut, Trista Hunter, and Ty Bray; her brothers: Randy (Jan) Hendrex and Rick (Yolanda) Hendrex; her grandchildren: Phoenix and Nova Ifrah, Kayla (Mitchel) Wagner, Karlee (John) Tower, Mark Jr., Mitchell, and Kade Thiebaut; and her great-grandson Oliver Wagner. Shawna worked as a secretary at School District 60 for thirty years, retiring in 2010.  She will be remembered for her heart of gold. Anyone close to her would tell you what a compassionate and selfless woman she was. She genuinely cared about others, and would give them the shirt off her back just to see them smile. Throughout her life, Shawna’s infectious smile brought joy to all those around her. She remained positive and steadfast no matter what life threw at her. But what Shawna cherished most was spending time with family. Her granddaughters were the light of her life. Shawna will be greatly missed but never forgotten. “Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as seperation.”

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 20th, 2024 at the Love Mug coffee shop (975 US-50, Pueblo, CO 81008) from 2-4pm.
