Kimberly Jo Burkhart, 64, born in Honolulu Hawaii on September 12th, 1959 and as of September 7th, 2024, she is finally free of her cancer ridden body and is now at peace, with no pain.

Kimberly was known for her infectious smile, love of singing, and joy for life.  She was active in many social and support groups and enjoyed being around people. She took great pride in being able to help others, mentor and sponsor people, and spread the joy of life to others through her priceless smile and singing.  She loved being in the Colorado Mountains and had many favorite spots she loved to visit with family and friends.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother Sandra G Jelinek and Stepfather Max Jelinek and is survived by her Brother Paul Burkhart, Son Jeffery Burkhart, his wife Brandy Burkhart and three Grandchildren; Katelynn Burkhart, Lenae Burkhart, and Austin Burkhart.  She was also the proud Great Grandma “GG” to Zakyah Carter (Katelynn’s Daughter), and Hayden Lucero (Lenae’s Son).  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

“Life is a song—sing it. Life is a game—play it. Life is a challenge—meet it. Life is a dream—realise it. Life is a sacrifice—offer it. Life is love—enjoy it.”  — Sai Baba
