Dale Allan Lessner, Sr age 69 passed away on 9/6/2024 in Colorado Springs, CO. Born in Baltimore, MD on 2/25/1955 to parents Robert Bertrum Lessner and Thelma June Kidwell. Dale leaves behind four children and two stepchildren: Dale A. Lessner Jr, Joshua Lessner (Gretchen), Christina Landis (Justin), Angela Bowers (Zachery), John Keilholtz and Kenneth (Jacob) Janini (Keilah), 8 Grandchildren: Ian, Quintin, Daniel, Oliver, Victoria, Derek, Jaxon and Nicholas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Thelma Lessner, his brother Charles Lessner, his sister Loretta Ann Ross, his twin sister Gale Sisco, and his wife Bonnie Lessner. 

Raised on the outskirts of Frederick, MD, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking and riding horses. He attended Frederick High School and joined the Army during the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam, he traveled to Colorado where he first fell in love with the Rocky Mountains. He returned home to Maryland where he raised his children, as much as he loved home, he had dreamed of retiring in Colorado and saw that dream come true when he moved back to Colorado in 2007.

There will be an intimate memorial ceremony at a date to be decided.
