With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved father, Arthur Rodriguez (70). Art was inspiring and radiated positivity and love to everyone he met. He passed on July 18, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on July 29, 1953, in San Luis, Colorado, to Margarito and Celia Rodriguez. Art grew up with eight siblings: Joe, Betty, Marlene, Stella, Eddie, Diana, and Elmer. Art united in marriage with Vivian Aragon on July 15, 1980. Art was preceded in death by his parents, Margarito and Celia Rodriguez, wife, Vivian Rodriguez, and brother, Johnny Rodriguez.

 Art was loved by many in San Luis and was well known for his position as transportation director at the Centennial School District for thirty years. He also attended trade school for bricklaying. Some of Art’s interests included old cars such as hot rods, watching WWE, and spending time with his family,especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Renee Rivera, Andrea Rodriguez, and Dominique Rodriguez. Art was highly regarded by his son-in-laws Anthony Rivera and Chris Sisneros. He has five grandchildren: Mekayla, Isaiah, Dylan Rivera, Alize and Alijah Sisneros. One great-grandchild, Dmitriy Saenko. Art also has many surviving nephews and nieces. 

 A Celebration of Life service in honor of Art is scheduled to be held at Centennial School (San Luis, CO) in the gymnasium. The event will begin on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at noon as friends and family come together to commemorate the life of a memorable individual whose love will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
