Our beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece and friend Tracie Reneé Knuth (Myers) went home to The Lord June 9th, 2024.   Tracie was born in Colorado Springs, CO October 5th, 1969 to Lee and Cathy Myers.  She was born in the original St. Francis hospital.  
She died peacefully with family and close friends by her side. 
Tracie attended Audubon Elementary until 1981 at which time her family moved to the Peyton area.  She graduated in 1988 from Peyton High School. 
She attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Co for  one year.  
From there she moved back to Colorado Springs and went to travel school. She moved to Denver after graduating and accepted a position at a busy travel agency.  She worked for several travel agencies throughout her career all in the Denver area. At one time she owned a very successful corporate travel agency with two of her co-workers.  They sold their shares right before Covid hit. 
She was married to Raymond Smith her high school sweetheart, then went on to marry Johnny Ricketts, they had 2 daughters Melanie and Samantha. 
Later she met up with another friend from high school, Rich Knuth. She moved to Wisconsin to start a new life with him, they had a daughter, Paige Knuth. 
Tracie was a lover of all animals.  At one time she had two St. Bernard’s, a shitzu, a pug and a German shepherd mix, two cats and two ferrets.  
Animals loved her, as they must have sensed they were safe with Tracie.  Her happy place was their camp trailer at Winter Haven resort in Wisconsin.  Wading in the lake water or cruising on their pontoon, or riding their four-wheelers through the endless trails along the lake. She was happiest when she was away from the city with her girls and other family members. 
She eventually moved back to Colorado Springs in 2022, just her and Paige, Samantha stayed in Chippewa Falls, WI and Melanie moved to Cedar Rapids Iowa to be with her boyfriend Tommy. Tracie worked from home for a large corporate/group travel, Christopherson Business Travel.  
She is survived by her daughter Melanie Knuth, Melanie’s boyfriend Tommy Kazleman,  Samantha Knuth (Onyx) and Paige Knuth.
She is also survived by her mother Cathy Myers, brothers Brian Myers and Mark Myers.  Many dear friends, aunts, and cousins and her beloved cat Jaxon and dog Eliza.  
She was preceded in death by her dad Lee Myers, grandparents, Eddie & Marian Myers, grandparents Tommie & VJ Stewart, Dorothy & Bud King and Albert & Norma Sonn. 
A celebration of Life was held at Faros Pizza Company, her favorite restaurant Thursday June 13th.  Friends and family came to share life stories about Tracie.
