Linda Rose Collins (1954-2024)
Linda Rose Collins of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a mother to two children and a nana to two
grandchildren, Sandra Lynette Samuelson and Jacob Cristian Collins and two grandchildren,
Kaylah Breighann Samuelson and Joslyn Amberosia Samuelson, has passed away peacefully at the
age of 70 on May 25th, 2024.
Linda was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 13, 1954 to John Joseph Moran and Anna Marie
Moran, née Carr, and had fond memories of childhood with her three brothers. Linda always had
an eccentric sense of humor that she carried with her everywhere, and took joy in playing piano,
especially her favorite song “Greensleeves.” Linda was also an avid writer of poetry and
independently published a collection of poetry called “Essence of a Rose” in 2007. Linda deeply
loved her children and grandchildren and took great pride in being called “Nana”.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Moran, and is survived by her
brothers, John, William, and Sean Moran, her children, Sandra Samuelson and Jacob Collins, and
grandchildren, Kaylah Samuelson and Joslyn Samuelson, who will never forget the love and
laughter she brought to their lives.
