Joseph (Joe) Westlund, age 66, of Walsh, CO passed away on May 29, 2024. Joe was born on February 1, 1958 in Iron Mountain, MI, the son of Orrin Westlund and Mae Waupoose (Goodwill). Joe loved fishing, gardening, restoring old knives, sharing his knowledge of plants and herbs, camping and telling tales of Bigfoot and ufo’s. He was quite the story teller and prankster. 

Joe is survived by his daughter Shannon Edwards (Westlund), three grandchildren Haven, Hope and Holden Edwards, one great grandson Westin Weaver and soon to be great granddaughter Misti. He is also survived by siblings, Leona “Peeper” Seely, Lorraine “Lorrie” Wright, Jenny Lagunes, Melvina “Mel” Peters, Michelle Rindt, Mary Kaminecki, Elaine Barker, Eleanore “Ellie” Waupoose, William “Bill” Waupoose and step sister Charlotte “Sis” Waupoose, along with many nieces, nephews and bonus children and grandchildren. 

Joe is proceeded in death by his parents Orrin Westlund, Mae Waupoose, siblings, Allen Goodwill, Orrin Westlund Jr, Sherry Westlund, Loretta “Peanut” Waupoose and one step brother James “Chum” Waupoose.
