Wanda Ruth Rodibaugh, age 87, passed away on Mother’s Day, May 12th, 2024. She was born on July 6th, 1936, to Ruth and Ralph Calvin in Creston, Iowa. Wanda was one of five siblings, including Rosetta (Rose), Dixie, Billie, and John.

On April 29, 1954, Wanda married the love of her life, Larry Ray Rodibaugh, on the Bride and Groom television show. Together, they had two daughters, Julie Ann and Jodi Lee. Wanda and Larry embarked on various ventures, from running a sub shop franchise to a donut shop franchise, before finding their passion in restoring fine china. In their later years, they shared this passion by teaching classes on the art.

Wanda was preceded in death by her sister Rosetta (Rose), her parents Ralph and Ruth, her great-grandson Devan, and her husband Larry. She is survived by her daughter Julie Barker, daughter Jodi Riley (Tony), four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and three siblings. 

Wanda was active in the Red Hat Society and was known for her love of people and sociable nature. In 2019, she was crowned the Silver Queen at the Colorado State Fair, a testament to her charm and warmth. Her quick wit and sense of humor brought joy to all who knew her. Wanda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor on July 20th, 2024.
