William M. Pointer age 84 passed away at home after a long battle with Parkinson’s surrounded by his loved ones on April 8th. Beloved husband of 63 years to Barbara Pointer. Cherished father of Deborah Johnson (Pointer) and Lisa Pointer, Adored grandfather of Erika Olson (Coate), Kaitlin Johnson and Kristina Johnson. Proud great-grandfather to Elijah M Maxey, also survived by his sister Judith Norman (Joseph). Proceeded in death by his parents Matilda Jospeh and William O. Pointer

William was a man of faith and loved the Lord. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed reading, competitive trap, skeet and pistol shooting. He enjoyed working on his well-manicured yard. He enjoyed spending time at the beach in the sun and traveling. Time spent with his family, grandchildren and great-grandson were some of his favorite moments.

He will be dealing missed by his loving family.
