Winston C. Johnston

On Dec 15, 2023 Winston C Johnston died peacefully

with his loving wife Janet by his side.

Born Nov 11, 1937 in Stauton Va. to Erby and Peggy Johnston.  He lived for a time in Farmville Va and then Virginia Beach Va

During his long life, Winston lived in other states too but settled  in Florida with Janet in the early 80s. 

The  last year of life was spent in Co Springs where his  youngest son, daughter-in-law and their two beautiful  grand children had relocated 

Before retiring he had a successful career as a  Hotel Franchise  development Consultant VP.  

This position required him to travel extensively but he still could find time to play tennis or travel to his beloved destination St Croix USVI

Winston is survived by his wife of 40 yrs, Janet K. Johnston and daughters Tana Johnston, Dene Johnston(Chris Michalski), and 

sons Todd Johnston (Allie Bassett) and Casey Johnston (Kassie Barlow Johnston), grandchildren Eve Sotomayor, ,Olivia Povloski (John), Graysen, Autumn,  Ava

and Great Grand Child Claire.

In accordance with his instructions no services will be held. In the week before his passing he was surrounded by his 4 children who came together to share happy memories. 

His wishes will be honored to “spend forever” in St Croix USVI, by the spreading of his ashes in his favorite place there.
