Erik Jensen, age 66, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on August 30, 2023. 

He was born on November 30, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois to Erik Jensen Sr. and Mildred Likvold.  During his early adolescence years, his family moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he attended Harrison High School. Shortly after high school Erik returned back to Chicago, Illinois where he met the love of his life, Patricia, (Patty) and they were married on October 30, 1976. Together they had two children, Darlene, and Brad, and remained together in a cynical relationship for the next 16 years until Patricia lost her battle with cancer in 1992.    

As a newly widowed father of two young children, Erik decided it was best to rebuild their lives after the tragic loss of his wife. He relocated back to Colorado Springs in 1993 and remained a permanent resident.

Erik was a motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed listening to music, and loved animals including his dog, Roscoe. He lived a life that was all his own.

He is survived by his children, Darlene (Troy), and Brad; grandson, Ethan; siblings, Steven, and Joann; as well as extended family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents Erik, Mildred, and stepfather Ivan.
