Clark D. Batiste 

was born on January 3, 1936 to the late Beatrice Johnson Batiste and John Batiste. Clark had a long time life companion Mrs. Jocelyn Lewis and from that union they raised a blended family together.  Clark worked as a Freight Handler at the Port of New Orleans. Clark relocated to Fountain,CO where he resided for 10 months. Clark loved all things New Orleans and good music and NOLA culture was at the core of his essence.

Clark  peacefully departed into the realms of eternal life on Saturday August 12, 2023. Clark was 87 yrs old and was a proud New Orleans native of 86 yrs. Clark was preceded in death by all of his four siblings, Ernest , Alice, Dorothy, and Audrey. Clark is survived by Life companion Mrs. Jocelyn Lewis and their blended family, a host of nieces , nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally there is a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day , and not to me only but also to all who have loved HIS appearing.
