Bradley Charles Bierwirth, age 70, passed away from complications of the blood disorder Neutropenia on July 12, 2023. Bradley was born on April 14, 1953, in Dearborn, Michigan. He joined the US Airforce in 1974 and traveled the world, residing in California, Japan, and Spain. Bradley was a proud veteran and member of AmVets. He was also an avid hiker and camper who appreciated any opportunity to immerse himself in nature, whether it was the green trails of California, the rich pine groves of Spain, the bright beaches of Michigan, or the majestic mountains of Colorado. He was also an animal lover, with a soft spot for cats. Bradley was spiritual and enjoyed studying Native American Culture, Buddhism, and Norse mythology. Bradley is survived by his wife Mari-Jo Patterson Bierwirth, daughter Heather Bierwirth Holloman (Patrick Holloman), son Charles Bierwirth, sister Jennifer Bierwirth Mayster (Bryan Mayster), and sister-in-law Mary Bierwirth, along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Bierwirth and Virginia Bierwirth, and his brothers Scott Bierwirth and Brent Bierwirth.A memorial coffee will be held at Pikes Peak Tower from 4:00 to 6:00 on July 29th. The address is 1912 Eastlake Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A separate family memorial will take place at a later date. Bradley’s favorite color was green. His wife kindly requests that Memorial attendees wear something green in honor of his love for nature and in recognition of his military service.
