Gary D. Haynes

Gary D. Haynes, 69, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away October 10th, 2022 in Colorado Springs. There will be no formal service held in honor of Gary’s wishes, instead, the family requests that all who loved Gary set aside a few moments of your time on Nov 22nd, 2022 wherever you may be, and join us in remembering him together. His ashes will be combined with Gizmo’s and spread in Colorado Springs by his Son as per his wishes. Gary was born May 10, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Carl and Toka Haynes. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Gary has lived all over the Kansas City Metro Area; Primarily in Belton, Grandview, & Raymore and was an Electrician in the local IBEW 124 union. Gary retired and moved to Colorado Springs where he always wished to be in the end and ultimately laid to rest.

He was preceded in death by his best friend Gizmo, mother Toka Haynes, father Carl Haynes, and brother Lance Haynes. Survivors include his son Justin Haynes & wife JoAna Haynes, sister Leanne Sparks, sister Connie Chaney & her husband, and cousin Sharon Elkins.
