August 13, 1945 – September 10, 2022

Our mother and grandmother Linda has passed away after battling a lifetime of multiple sclerosis at the age of 77.  She had a childhood without symptoms, but in her 20’s she was diagnosed.  As a young mother, she never told anyone, and lived her life the best she could by taking every vitamin ever recommended for the disease.

Linda was born on Beulah Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado to Simon P. Langosh and Dorothy S. Langosh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and seven brothers.

Linda married William D. Anselmo at the age of 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Justice of Peace. They had 4 children together and traveled as William was in the Navy.  Later Linda was able to settle in Colorado once again.

She was in the Civil Air Patrol as a young girl at Central High School, which she graduated from. She always enjoyed learning and continued as a student earning an electronics degree and a psychology degree at the community college after she had finally returned to Colorado Springs.

She was employed at various companies around town through her life such as Montgomery Wards, Photomat, selling Shaklee vitamins, Johnny Appleseed passing out fliers every weekend with the kids, and Woolco. If there was any other time in her life, she tried to earn an extra dollar, but her career was mostly as a sales woman. If being a mother and working full time didn’t take all of her time, she was a volunteer for the Boy scouts and Girl Scouts of America.

She also delighted in playing piano for anyone and played any chance she would get.  Music filled her soul with joy.  Along with the piano and music, her favorite job was a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in the Springs. Colorado Springs was the only place she wanted to be in her later years, but enjoyed a lifetime here.

Linda is survived by her 4 children, Michael Anselmo (Brenda Thurman) of Cripple Creek, CO, Michelle Tanga (Rick) of Sandy, Utah, Melanie Taylor (Jason) of Denver, CO and Marcie Budhoff (Ben) of Denver, CO.

She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends whom she loved and adored.

Funeral services will be in Walsenburg, Colorado on Saturday October 1st at 11:00 AM at The Church of Christ, 416 Walsen Avenue # 1408, WalsenBurg, Colorado 81089
