On March 12, 2004, at 9:36pm Liam Michael Patterson graced our lives. He is the son of John and Sarah Patterson of Calhan CO, brother to Cody and Mallory (Patterson) Batt and uncle to Sophie and Hagen Batt of Russell KS. He passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the age of 18 years 6 months and 6 days. Liam was a beautiful soul; kind and caring and from what we as a family have learned he has touched so many lives; his quick handsome smile, helpfulness and fun-loving personality drew people in. If you needed help, he would try in any way he could to make sure you were helped.

Liam was a member of the Elbert County 4H program and the Kiowa Community 4H Club. He had been riding dirt bikes since around the age of five and in the past couple years had been racing in CORCs, RMRA and the Winter Combat Series. Liam was a talented rider who enjoyed flying in the air. Liam loved to work on his Nissan D21 Hardbody that he called Nina. He worked on it every chance he got, upgrading, fixing and just enjoying his truck. He enjoyed going to car meets, car shows, hanging out with friends and family, meeting new people and spending as much time as possible with his girlfriend. Liam was an employee at Discount Tire in Parker CO and the N. Academy location in Colorado Springs. Recently he worked at Big O in Falcon CO.

Liam is preceded in death by his great grandparents, John and Ann Zink, Clayton and Edna Holder and Bryant and Edna Starks. His grandparents Malcom and Ann Marie Patterson, and Uncle Mike Patterson. 

Liam is survived by and loved by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law, his niece and nephew (who he loved dearly), his grandparents Ken and Sharon Holder. His Aunts and Uncles; Steve Patterson and Kim Goodwin, Alan Patterson and Olivia Chacon, Sean and Tracy Shipley and Ron and Kim Haynes. His cousins; Tony and Ashli Holder, Britani Holder, Jen and Alex McEvoy, Bryant Bennett, Katie Patterson, Chelsie Patterson, Lane Holder and Hayden Holder, Tucker McEvoy and Wyatt McEvoy, his girlfriend Tess Schermerhorn and so many more friends and family. 

Liam you are so loved and will be so missed. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Elbert County Fairgrounds (95 Ute Ave, Kiowa, CO 80117)on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00pm.
