Corinne Mae Pemberton (née Burghart) was born August 27, 1954 in Colorado Springs to parents Edna and Robert. She graduated from Palmer High School in 1972 and took a job with Boettcher &  Co. in Colorado Springs. She married William Kothe in 1972 and had two children, Robert born in 1973 and Kendra born in 1977. In 1984, Corinne started to work for School District 14 as a school bus driver and did so until she retired in 2020. In 1986, she married Lawrence Pemberton. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, decorating, flower arranging, sewing, gardening, and spending time with loved ones. Corinne lost her battle with ovarian cancer on 23 August, 2022, just 4 days before her 68th birthday, in Colorado Springs at her home while surrounded by family and friends. Corinne is survived by her brothers, Stan and Byron, her children, and her granddaughter, Shaniya.  A celebration of life and interment at Evergreen Cemetery will be scheduled at a later time.
