Robert “Bullet Bob” Annala died November 26, 2021.   He was born October 10, 1949, in Great Falls Montana to the late Waino and Mary Jane Annala. He graduated from the University of Montana in 1972.  He joined the Army and served over 12 years active duty and retired form the reserves.  He was a Letter Carrier for 30 years.  He was very active in the NALC and was a member of the DAV and Sigma Nu.   He married Jeannette Allen on December 31, 1976, at First Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fly fishing, reading, playing cards, and watching Bronco’s football. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jane Nelson, sister-in-law Jan Annala, brother-in-law John Luksic, and son Robert Nicholas Annala.  He is survived by many loving families. His wife and daughter Elizabeth Annala, his brothers Barry and John (Catherine) and their sons Lucas and Evan of Idaho, his aunt and uncle Bill and Viola Annala of Geyser, Montana, and many cousins. From his wife’s family Susan Luksic and daughters Laura (Bob) Bimm, Lisa (Dan) Bruntz and their families, and Tom and Tish Sorrell and sons Mark, Jonathan, William, and Andrew. Memorial Service will be held at First Lutheran Church at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 9 and can be livestreamed on YouTube.com (search First Lutheran Church Colorado Springs.)   Burial will be at Pikes Peak National cemetery on Wednesday, December 15 at 11:00 AM.  Donation can be made in Bob’s name in lieu of flowers to Muscular Dystrophy Association or First Lutheran Church.
