Maria N Haya recently passed away on 1 October 2021 at home in Colorado at the USAF Academy CO. She was in good health for her 93 years on this earth. She lived with her daughter and son-in-law Diane and Brently McCulloch since the summer of 2003 originally in El Paso TX. She was preceded in passing by her husband Victor R Haya they had been married for 42 years. She is survived by her daughter Diane McCulloch residing on the USAF Academy CO and her son Victor Haya residing in Denver CO. Her brothers Jaime Serna of Miami FL, Octavio Serna of Cali Colombia, Javier Serna of New Jersey and sisters Amparo Medina, Amanda Serna residing in Cali Colombia. Grandchildren Brandon McCulloch residing in San Diego CA, Devin and Barrett McCulloch currently residing in Indonesia and Kevin Haya of Miami FL. Numerous nieces and nephews residing in Colombia, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Maria was beloved by all and was known for her Colombian dishes that everyone loved. She and her husband Victor moved from Colombia in 1968 and became US Citizens working in the garment industry in New York and Miami until their retirement in 2000 and moving back to Colombia.
