On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, Charles (Chuck) Lee Steckelberg, loving brother, husband, and father passed away at the age of 70.  

Chuck was born May 7, 1951 to William and Dorothy (Sheldon) Steckelberg of Stanton, NE.  He graduated from Stanton High School in 1969.  

Chuck is best known for his love of music.  He spent many years playing his guitar and singing at local events in and around the Norfolk area.  Along with music, he enjoyed attending auctions and discovering antique treasures.  

On August 27, 2003 Chuck and Barbara Whittle married and lived in Colorado Springs, CO.  They enjoyed exploring both the culinary delights of the area and finding new antiques to either restore, sell, or add to their home.

He is preceded in death by daughter Hailey Schexnider.

He is survived by his spouse, Barbara; three children Beau Steckelberg, Amber Kargol, and Breana Pelster; his grandchildren Elliana and Allia Steckelberg, Simon, Levi, Max, and Oliver Kargol, and Jaden and Trinity Pelster; brothers Van Steckelberg and David Steckelberg.
