Sheryl Lynn King, our beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Grandma (Nana), passed away on October 4th 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The family will have a public celebration of life from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday Oct. 10th at the Cimarron Hills Fire Department Administration Building, 1835 Tuskegee Place, Colorado Springs, CO.  In lieu of Flowers, Stephen is requesting that donations be made “in memory of Sheryl King” to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado https://www.wildanimalsanctuary.org/

On February 29th 1952, Sheryl was born to Jim and Kathy Loomis in Casper Wyoming. She moved to Williston, North Dakota, where she adopted her son, Max Wade Stoneking 31 years ago. She later moved to Colorado Springs Colorado where she met the love of her life, Stephen King on a camping trip 18 years ago in 2003.  They were married two years later on June 11th, 2005 in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado and enjoyed 16 years of married life together.  She had a passion for camping and traveling. She also enjoyed spending her days doing crafts and playing with her Granddaughters. 

Sheryl is preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Loomis. She is survived by her mother, Kathy Loomis, husband Stephen King, son Max (Bailey) Stoneking, sister Debbie (Mike) Beaverson, step-son Stephen Jr. (Erica) King, step-daughter Kara (AJ) Wood, Grandchildren Rosie, Colton, Ella, Dava, and Saya.  She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
