Rodney “Bud” Arend passed away with loved ones by his side on September 27, 2021.
Bud was loved by everyone who knew him and he was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer his advice.
Bud had been an iconic figure in motor sports for over 40 years. From flat track to the pikes peak hillclimb, to drag racing. Motorsports were his life, but drag racing was his passion and he lived that passion through watching his daughter Tina compete in the local Drag Racing Series, where together they were able to win their first championship this season.
There wasn’t anything Bud loved more than spending time at the race track with his friends and family.
Bud is survived by his wife Connie of 28 years, his daughter Tina, Siblings Debbie, Dodie, Teri, Tracy and numerous nephews and nieces.
