Mark Wayne Shelton, 64, born 10/3/56, passed away on 10/2/21 at hospice in his hometown of Pueblo, CO.

Mark was a native of Pueblo and a graduate of Pueblo County High School.  He has been married to his wife, Roberta, for almost 44 years.  Aside from the few years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, they lived in Pueblo County.

Mark enjoyed his work as a Ford mechanic and was always willing to take on an intern to share his knowledge.

Exceptionally gifted with people, though always remembered as quiet; he was dubbed “pop pop” or “pops” by his co-workers at Spradley and proudly wore many other nicknames from friends and family. He was a solid and faithful friend to many for his lifetime and could always be counted on to help when anyone was in a pinch or in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lile and Mary Shelton of Pueblo, and sisters-in-law, Claudia Shelton and Terrie Boughton. Mark is survived by his wife Roberta, brother Don (Karen) Shelton, sisters-in-law Doris (John) Haafke and Peggy (Steve) Nielsen, and numerous nieces and nephews. No formal service will be performed at this time.
